Information
Created by the Leclerc family, the house was owned by Pascal Leclerc-Briant until his death in 2010. Thanks to him, the estate acted as a precursor in the Champagne region for organic and biodynamic viticulture. Before his death, an American couple of Francophile made sure that his work would not go to waste: they employed two talented winemakers: Hervé Jestin and Frédéric Zeimett. Thanks to their work, the wines have improved immeasurably; they are meticulously vinified, almost natural wines. A rising star.
This cuvée is made of Pinot Meunier that brings roundness and a fruity character, pinot Noir that gives a good structure, and Chardonnay that allows for a lovely freshness with some hints of honey. Its vinification in oak barrels brings a softness to the effect on the palate. Malolactic fermentation gives it a round profile. This organically-grown Champagne is at once flavourful and fresh.
