Arbois Trousseau Jacques Puffeney les bérangères 2008
The wine
Made from a characterful grape variety, this Arbois has a ruby red appearance from which emanate charming notes of red fruits, small berries and blackcurrant liquor. The palate reveals delicate and rounded tannins and its body, almost light, promises wonderful gastronomic pairings with white meat or a board of local cheeses.
About the Producer Jacques Puffeney
Created in 1960 by Jacques Puffeney, the domain spans 6 hectares, spread over a dozen parcels. He farmed Poulsard, Pinot Noir, Trousseau, Chardonnay and Savagnin with meticulous care. Puffeney retired in 2014 and sold 4.25 hectares of the domain to Marquis d'Angerville (Volnay, Burgundy). He kept the rest for himself and one of his nephews.
