This Pinot Noir "Harmonie" is only produced during exceptional years, from vines grown on the most favoured terroir in the Zusslin estate; its south-facing aspect provides the perfect conditions for grape maturation. This domaine takes especial pains to rigorously sort the fruit during after picking. To drink, it is light with joyous hints of spice and fruit. Oak barrel maturation contributes to the presence of finely grained tanins and refined nature of this cuvée, which amply rewards a few years in the cellar.

About the Producer Valentin Zusslin

Domaine Valentin Zusslin is a longtime darling of critics and wine guides (including Bettane & Desseauve and the RVF). The 16 hectare estate which is based in Orschwihr, just south of Colmar, converted to biodynamic viticulture in 1997. Wines are produced from a total of 9 different grape varieties, featuring crystalline whites and structured Pinot Noirs perfect for cellaring.
