More info

Maison Romane has been putting its name to tasty winemaker’s beers for almost four years now. These beers are brewed from wild fruit or plants using natural yeasts from fermenting wines. Water and malted barley continue to be essential ingredients in the production of these craft beers. The Pommes à Cidre beer is unique in that it is top-fermented. The mash and the pressed apple juice obtained from partial carbonic fermentation are blended and aged for seven months in Burgundy barrels. Alcoholic fermentation is achieved with natural yeasts extracted from fermenting wine vats.
The sparkling, clear colour reveals an expressive nose full of intense yellow fruit aromas. The fresh, thirst-quenching palate affirms the aromas of the nose with great finesse, with subtle hints of acidity. This is a cellar-worthy beer that can also be enjoyed as soon as it is bottled.
