This red Burgundy expresses pleasant notes of fruit (cherry, strawberry and raspberry), woodland fruits, tobacco and sweet spices. It is pleasantly rounded, with well-integrated tannins which lend great length to the warm finish. This is a wine for drinking while young and fruity, which will pair marvellously well with grilled poultry or a Burgundy fondue.

About the Producer Coche-Bizouard
Domaine Coche-Bizouard domaine is a family domaine created in 1940. Based in Meursault, the domaine encompasses the Pommard, Auxey-Duresses, Monthélie and of course the Meursault appellation. The vineyard is managed traditionally, by working the vines and ploughing without weed killers. The wines are balanced, fresh and fruity. Whilst they are perfectly drinkable when young, it is also interesting to explore their fine aging qualities.
