Château Morin 1989
The wine
Thanks to meticulous work in the vineyard, this Saint-Estèphe is characterised by its elegance and fresh aromas. The garnet-coloured robe holds tertiary aromas such as forest floor while the tannins are well-integrated with a silky texture. The finish ends on long, menthol notes from the Cabernet-Sauvignon. We recommend opening two hours before serving, perhaps with a characterful regional dish of your choice! On the technical side, this wine undergoes thermoregulated vinification and is raised in both vats and new oak barriques.
About the Producer Château Morin
Château Morin is located at the highest point of the Saint-Estèphe municipality and, after changing hands many times, in 2005 it was bought by Château de Pez. 10.5 hectares of vines grow on clay-limestone soils with perfect exposure to sunshine.
