Vin de Savoie Arbin Tout un monde Louis Magnin 2011
The wine
The “Tout un monde” cuvée is an excellent Mondeuse, made using the grapes from a single, small parcel of hundred-year-old vines! It’s therefore a very rare wine, with only 3000 bottles produced. While rather dense, it is low in alcohol, fresh on the palate and extremely juicy, with plenty of ripe fruit flavours (blueberry, black cherry). A lovely wine, with a pleasantly long and fruity finish.
About the Producer Louis Magnin
Located near the town of Chambéry, Domaine Louis Magnin is a small family property with eight hectares of vines. Situated in the village of Arbin, it adjoins the Bauges Massif. The Magnin family adopt a very natural approach in both the vineyard and the winery, producing clean, direct wines. It has for many years been one of Savoie's finest and most consistent properties.
