A fine and delicious wine revealing Mondeuse de Savoie to a stunning result.
More info“Fille d’Arbin” is a delicate Mondeuse, displaying aromas of violets and wild sloes on the nose, with spicy notes. On the palate, a lovely freshness accompanies its black fruit character. This wine is an ode to finesse, with an emphasis on delicious flavours.
So how’s it made? The vines, which are around 35 years old, grow on stony clay and limestone soils, and the grapes are harvested by hand at the estate. In the winery, processes include the de-stemming of all grapes and ageing in stainless steel vats for 12 months on fine lees.
This wine goes brilliantly with dishes such as rack of lamb in a salt crust or sautéed beef with mushrooms. So get cooking! It can be enjoyed now, but will cellar for at least 20 years, so a little patience may be required to enjoy it with even more complexity.
