Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru Frédéric Magnien 2012
The wine
Grown in a soil composed of marl, iron, and pebbles, the vines push deep into the rocky subsoil. The wine has a complex and powerful nose of fresh fruit and spices. On the palate, its tannins give body and a certain acidity to the overall effect. It will need to be aged in order for its aromas to fully develop. Its spicy finish rounds off the tasting experience beautifully.
