Pouilly-Fuissé La Roche Bret Brothers 2013
The wine
This wine from one of the finest vineyards in Pouilly-Fuissé should please both connoisseurs and novices. A perfect mineral quality combines with notes of white flower to create an excellent Chardonnay. The winemaking process involves pressing whole grape clusters and 11 months of barrel-maturing in 228 litre casks. The wine has a straw yellow colour and mineral and floral aromas. It is refined and dense on the palate with excellent minerality.
About the Producer Bret Brothers
The Bret Brothers domain was founded in 2001 by brothers Jean-Philippe and Jean-Guillaume Bret. They are also the brothers behind the Domaine de la Soufrandière. Their objective has been clear from the beginning: to create specially selected high quality wines under strict and precise specifications. The Bret brothers buy unharvested grapes and then vinify them themselves. Some of their cuvées have organic certification.
