Lot presentation
Bouzeron Ramonet (Domaine) 2012
The wine
Led by Jean-Claude Ramonet (now separated from his brother Noël), this is one of the legendary domains of the Côte de Beaune and his white wines are gold-dust; eagerly snapped up all over the world.
This domain’s Bouzeron Aligoté displays a pure, yellow robe, revealing white flower and mineral aromas on the nose. This is a fine, elegant wine with buttery, citrus notes and a seriously lingering finish, offering a touch of iodine.
About the Producer Ramonet
Jean-Claude and Noël safeguard the 17-hectare property created bit by bit by their grandfather Pierre Ramonet in the 1920s, a Burgundian figure. Noël (in the cellar) and Jean-Claude (in the vineyard) took over the domain in 1984. They are the third generation and want to get the best out of the terroir. It is one of the most renowned domain of the appellation for both quality and finesse of its wines.
