Barolo DOCG Cannubbio Francesco Rinaldi Riserva Valferi 1988
The wine
Cannubio's Barolo is matured in oak barrels for at least three years. It has a pretty garnet-red appearance, with orange hues as it ages. The nose offers floral aromas (rose, violet). The palate is harmonious, with spicy notes. This wine pairs very well with grilled red meat, game and some cheeses.
About the Producer Francesco Rinaldi
Giovanni Rinaldi acquired a vineyard in the Barolo region circa 1870 and then handed it down to his children and grandchildren. Today, his great-granddaughters, Paola and Piera Rinaldi, manage the domaine.
