The Chardonnay vines producing this cuvée are grown in the most southerly terroir of the Côte Chalonnaise, where they benefit from its clay-limestone soil. Yields are intentionally low, allowing for real expression of grape and terroir. Always with a view to respecting the purity of the fruit, vinification is gentle and slow. The resulting wine is aged for between eight and ten months in (20% new) barrels. A luminous robe reveals floral, herby and fresh fruit aromas, with lots of liveliness in the mouth and delicious length.
