Riesling Vendanges Tardives
Information
About the wine

Alsace wines labelled, "Vendanges Tardives" ("Late Harvest") are made from perfectly ripe (but not overripe) fruit. These powerful, rich, complex wines can reach up to 16% natural alcohol. Depending on the producer, the wines can be dry, demi-sec or sweet. Their deep, concentrated colour and incomparable bouquet of ripe, candied fruit make them a truly exceptional product. Smooth and velvety, they combine structure, substance and richness without being heavy. With an exceptional potential to age, Alsace's "Vendanges Tardives" ("Late Harvests") can be considered one of the world's greatest white wines.
