Information
Remarkably located in the middle of three crus classés in the Pessac-Léognan appellation (Bouscaut, Carbonnieux and Smith-Haut-Lafitte), Château Le Thil Comte Clary extracts fantastic potential from its terroir. Very well oriented, one of its particularities is that the clay-limestone soil, with gravelly areas, is not unlike that of Saint Emilion. This unusual agronomic characteristic explains the choice of grape varieties; a departure from the traditional rules for the Graves region.
The white wines are aged for nine months in oak barrels and display a wonderful golden-tinged yellow hue. On the palate, they are well-balanced and pleasantly structured, with a wonderful acidic finish.
