About the producer
Château Ségur de Cabanac is a cru from Saint-Estèphe that used to belong to the influent Ségur family. The château is now carefully looked after by Guy Delon who also owns the Saint-Julien cru bourgeois Moulin de la Rose. With a majority of Cabernet Sauvignon (60%) completed with Merlot, the property produces a concentrated Saint-Estèphe with good ageing potential.
About the wine
Vinified with care, this property's wines display excellent balance. They develop beautifully harmonious, rounded, fruity aromas with a hint of smokiness.
