About the producer

Located in part on Médoc's highest plateau, Château Pontey, a cru bourgois classé, has vines on the southern slopes of the commune of Blaignan. This excellent geographical position, and the quality and diversity of the terroir, make this vineyard, planted with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, one of the most interesting in the region.

About the wine

Château Pontey produces a generously coloured wine with aromas of ripe fruit. It is full-bodied and rounded. It has the potential to age for around 15 years.
