About the producer

After various inheritances, Château Mauvezin became the property of Pierre Cassat in 1968. Since then, the Cassat family have been working to improve the wine's quality and its commercial recognition.

About the wine

Château Mauvezin is a well-rounded and elegant Saint-Emilion based on Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. On the nose it develops aromas of blackerry and licorice. This a wine to enjoy after 5 to 10 years in the cellar.
