Château Liversan Cru Bourgeois
Information
About the producer

Château Liversan is a splendid property on the edge of Pauillac, less than three kilometres from Lafite and Mouton Rothschild. High tech winemaking facilities enable meticulous vinification. After rigorous selection at the blending stage, the wines are aged in new or young oak barrels (two-years old at the most). This meticulous approach is reflected in the growing quality and success of recent vintages at Liversan, which, according to Robert Parker, is one of the best managed crus bourgeois in the Médoc.

About the wine

Liversan is an excellent Haut-Médoc with a strong Cabernet Sauvignon influence. The refined nose evokes aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant and cigar box afer a few years. The palate is balanced and powerful with generous tannins. This wine should be kept for 8 to 15 years before drinking.
