About the producer
Château Fourcas-Loubaney was built in the early 19th century and stands on the Fourcas limestone plateau. It is Listrac wine, to follow carefully in good vintages. The domain has 50 hectares planted in Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
About the wine
Meticulous vinification and ageing in oak barrels helps to produce rounded, full-bodied wines, with well-integrated yet powerful tannins. They are very well balanced. The property was promoted to Cru Bourgeois Supérieur status in the 2003 revision of the 1932 classification.
