Château Fourcas Dupré
Information
About the producer

Located in the north of Listrac,in the Fourcas village, the Château Fourcas Dupré already had vines at the beginning of the 18th century. In 1970, Guy Pagès and Alex Laffont bought the property and did important investments to improve the quality of the wine. In 1985, his son, Patrice Pagèstook over the domain and continued improving it. The vineyard covers 46 hectares with 44% Cabernet Sauvignon, 44% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot. The wines of this château now reach a beautiful level and are a very good value for money.

About the wine

The Château Fourcas Dupré red wine is vinified using traditional methods, and then aged for 12 to 14 months in oak barrels. It has a remarkable colour and develops fruity aromas with wood hint. The tannins are pleasantly refined and the wine is very well-balanced.
