Château Fonbadet
Information
About the producer

An 18th century residence, Fonbadet is one of the few châteaux in the Médoc to be surrounded by a vast park, with an interesting variety of trees, many of which are rarely seen in the region. The vines are planted on a high gravelly plateau and have an average age of 50 to 60 years. The vineyard's excellent position, combined with high quality vinification, results in intense, concentrated, deeply coloured, perfectly balanced wines For some vintages Château Fonbaudet is capable of surpassing many crus classés.

About the wine

It was made a Cru Bourgeois Supérieur in the June 2003 revision of the cru bourgeois classification.
