Clos du Moulin aux Moines is a historic vineyard nestling in Auxey-Duresses, stretching over several plots extending from Pernand-Vergelesses to Corpeau, at the heart of the Côte de Beaune. To preserve its fabulous heritage, the estate exclusively practises organic farming, which allows each cuvée to express the personality of its terroir, free from any artificial additives. The grapes are hand-picked at optimum ripeness and rigorously sorted in the vineyard. Once in the winery the grapes undergo traditional, low-intervention vinification.
The golden colour reveals an expressive bouquet of delicate woody aromas, white and tropical fruit, combined with subtle touches of lemon imparting freshness. The full, delicious palate is lifted by intense aromas of vanilla and brioche, leading to an authentic, fresh and persistent finish. This cuvée can easily be cellared for several years.
