Information
The domain sources grapes from five different organic winegrowers operating in the heart of the Côte des Bar to produce this prestigious cuvée. Growing on clay-limestone soils, the Chardonnay vines reveal a magnificent expression of the terroir. The harvested grapes undergo spontaneous fermentation thanks to naturally occurring yeasts. Following the ageing process using 600-litre oak casks, the cuvée is further aged on laths for around three years.
The golden colour reveals an extremely pure and precise bouquet, with fragrances of flint stone, lily of the valley and orange blossom complemented by hints of toast and pastry. The lively, vibrant palate reveals floral aromas perfectly balanced with flavours of ripe peach and quince, leading to a fresh, deliciously long finish. This cuvée can easily be cellared for ten years or so.
