Information
The Michelot family has been at the helm of this 19-hectare vineyard, spanning the emblematic Meursault wine region, for six generations now. During the 1960s, the domain expanded considerably thanks to the tireless work of Bernard Michelot, with new generations perpetuating the tradition. The wealth of the vineyard, comprising different terroirs including several premier crus, contributes to creating great wines with a wide range of aromas. To understand and preserve this incredible terroir, the domain limits the use of additives in the vineyards and promotes sustainable viticulture practices. The vineyard chooses not to adhere to any official label guidelines, ensuring the freedom to continue encouraging the vines to protect themselves naturally. The Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes are harvested by hand and carefully sorted in the vineyard before being brought to the winery where they are vinified according to the most exact Burgundian tradition.
