About the producer
Founded in 1897 by a group of blenders based on the plans of Charles Doig, Tamdhu is one of the last distilleries in Scotland to malt all of its barley on site. Little known as a single malt, its fruity whisky is nonetheless a popular ingredient in many blended scotches, including Cutty Sark, J&B and The Famous Grouse.
About the wine
An official bottling of Tamdhu 10 Year Old bottled in the 1980s. This version replaced the 8 Year Old released in 1976.
