Information
The family domain, located in the legendary Morey-Saint-Denis vineyards, was founded in the 1930s. With a wealth of knowledge gained from his father and grandfather, the winegrower tends some nine hectares of vines, with around 44 different plots in 22 different appellations, including two Grand Crus and four Premier Crus. This great diversity of terroirs results in a broad range of aromas in the vines and in the wines. The vines, averaging 45 years, thrive on east-facing clay-limestone soils at an altitude of around 230 metres. Each plot benefits from careful, balanced viticulture, tailored to the needs of each individual plot. In the winery, the emphasis is on capturing the unique characteristics of the terroir where the vines originate, through traditional, low intervention winemaking methods. As a result, the Odoul-Coquard domain celebrates the region’s superb terroirs in all their diversity, crafting aromatic, authentic and flavoursome cuvées.
