Information
Long overshadowed by Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier is now one of Champagne’s three emblematic grape varieties. Its clear juice stems from fruit that thrives in clay and limestone soils in the Marne Valley. To produce great Champagnes that will stand the test of time, Benoit Déhu promotes healthy, balanced viticulture that respects biodynamic principles. The vineyards are cultivated on horseback, entirely chemical free, following a precise study of moon cycles. The cuvée is aged for 11 months in oak casks before being bottled.
The bright golden colour is graced with fine glistening bubbles. The fresh, fruity nose reveals aromas of green pear and greengage, with hints of butter and honey. The round, creamy palate delivers a spellbinding tasting experience, with generous flavours of peach, plum and pear.
