Stagg and the famous Pappy Van Winkle.
Blanton’’s single barrel #259 aged in the famous Warehouse H and bottled in 2000 for the Silver Edition series (at 49% ABV). The distillery’’s director from 1912 to 1953, Colonel Blanton noticed that the metallic Warehouse H, which was very hot in the summer and cold in the winter, offered optimum conditions for ageing his bourbons.
