Charles Rebillon is a Burgundy company based in Beaune that produces fine wines from grapes grown by carefully selected producers. This Vosne-Romanée from the Les Crayères climat is made from Pinot Noir, the region’s noble grape variety. Benefiting from an oceanic climate with a semi-continental influence, the vines draw the nutrients they need to flourish from the limestone and marl soils, thanks to traditional growing methods. In the winery, little intervention is employed to allow the terroir’s identity to express itself. The wine aged in oak casks offers a deep ruby colour with purplish tints and can be cellared for up to ten years. The intense nose reveals notes of red and black fruits, sweet spices, light roasting and humus. The tannins are fine and velvety.
