Information
Supported by her partner Jean-François Ganevat, Maylis Bernard runs a prodigious wine trading house, combining tradition and modernity. She strives to produce natural wines of the highest quality. To this end, she selects a unique raw material, grown exclusively in accordance with the strict and healthy methods of organic viticulture. This is how the Monrie cuvée came into being, the result of a delicate and original blend of Mondeuse and Riesling grapes. In the winery, the meticulously selected grapes are vinified naturally, with no added sulphur and as little human intervention as possible. The result is simply breathtaking.
The bright red colour is complemented by an elegant and intense nose revealing expressive red fruit mingling with notes of white pepper. The intense, refined palate elegantly leads to a delicate lingering finish. This cuvée can easily be cellared for several years.
