Information
Maxime Trijol began his career as a Cognac wine and brandy broker in 1954 and officially became a distiller in 1962. A decade later, his son Jean-Jacques succeeded his father in the production of exceptional products, carefully and rigorously applying the unique techniques inherited from his ancestors. The family story lived on when his daughters, Anne-Sophie and Pauline, took over running the estate. The House, which counts some 22 to 25 traditional stills, is unique in that it cultivates its own vines before conducting the meticulous process of distillation and ageing. This allows the family-run business to maintain control over every stage of the Cognac production process, while unwaveringly adhering to the same commitment to excellence. Maxime Trijol is one of the largest and most emblematic Cognac distilleries, combining tradition and modernity.
Maxime Trijol XO is a cognac composed of eaux-de-vie aged for at least 10 years in oak casks. It is made with grapes grown in all six of the appellation’’s crus.
