Information
Courvoisier is a cognac brand founded in Jarnac in 1836. It is responsible, among other things, for the appellation Napoléon (who was a great fan of the brand's cognacs).
Courvoisier Napoléon is a Fine Champagne cognac, made with grapes grown in the appellation’’s most prestigious crus of Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne. Napoléon is an unofficial age appellation in the official classification V.S.O.P. (Very Superior Old Pale), which requires at least four years ageing in oak casks. A Cognac V.S.O.P. can be called a Napoléon if it has been aged for at least six years. This edition from the 1960s is presented in a Baccarat crystal decanter.
