Information
Caroline Morey, daughter of the illustrious Jean-Marc Morey, with the help of her husband Pierre-Yves Colin, perpetuates her father’s work and strives to extract the purest expression of the marvellous terroirs of Santenay, Saint-Aubin, Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet and Beaune in each of her cuvées. Caroline places particular emphasis on grass cover and cultivates the soil without any chemicals. Yields are also carefully controlled to guarantee a high-quality raw material. Once picked, the Pinot Noir grapes are vinified with minimal intervention so as not to detract from the identity of the raw material.
The ruby-red colour reveals an intense nose with charming aromas of wild berries such as blueberry and blackberry. On the palate, a tannic texture harbours a range of fruity aromas, leading to a fresh, persistent and delicious finish.
