Information
Caribbean Club is renowned worldwide for crafting the most emblematic rums near Cuba, drawing on a unique ancestral expertise. Known for its generous spirits since the 17th century, the island uses a traditional still to produce its powerful, aromatic eaux-de-vie. Producers and distillers follow a rigorous production process which requires both patience and passion. The main ingredient in the recipe is sugar, which the distillers source locally. First, fermentations are carried out naturally thanks to wild yeasts. Next, distillation in a still produces pure, aromatic alcohol with a high proof. Finally, ageing in barrels for several years is an essential step which will contribute to reducing the alcohol content. This will allow the spirits to develop their delicious aromas and delightful amber colour.
