Morey Saint-Denis
Information
About the wine

Situated in the central area of the Côte de Nuits, the vineyards grow in well-drained clay-limestone soil. This appellation covers the grands crus such as Clos St-Denis, Clos de Tart, Clos de la Roche and Clos des Lambrays. Morey wines have the mellowness and finesse of the Chambolles and the strength and structure typical of the Gevrey-Chambertins. Its wines are quite colourful, with rich aromas of red and dark fruit (wild cherries and blackcurrant). After a long ageing, its aromas become enriched with tones of wood, spices or game.
