About the producer
This lovely Meursault domain stretches across no less than 16.5 hectares of the Côte de Beaune. Xavier Monnot plants mainly Chardonnay, but there are also Pinot Noir and Aligoté vines here. The wine is modern in style, as much in its vinification as in its maturing process. The harvests are carried out by hand and the cuvées are largely crafted for long ageing that will reveal the character of the different terroirs. Domaine René Monnot is an excellent name for lovers of white Burgundy looking for something new.
