The Château de Barbe is located on the right bank of the Gironde. Its 42 hectares overlook the estuary in the appellation Côtes-de-bourg appellation. André Richard now runs the property.
About the wine
The Château de Barbe produces a flamboyant Côtes-de-bourg composed mainly with Merlot. It develops aromas of black fruits, gooseberry and vanilla. The palate is robust and very concentrated.
