About the producer

Founded in 1897 by a group of blenders based on the plans of Charles Doig, Tamdhu is one of the last distilleries in Scotland to malt all of its barley on site. Little known as a single malt, its fruity whisky is nonetheless a popular ingredient in many blended scotches, including Cutty Sark, J&B and The Famous Grouse.

About the wine

A Tamdhu 10 Year Old from the time of Edrington, who owned the distillery between 1999 and 2011. The single malt range was relaunched in 2011 with new packaging by the current owner Ian Macleod Distillers.
