Information
Aligoté, an unmissable grape variety native to Burgundy, first appeared in the region in the 17th century. This variety has the unique ability to adapt perfectly to its terroir, finely reflecting its finest qualities in each of cuvée. Domaine Bernard Van Berg produces a 100% Aligoté cuvée under the Vin de France designation. A guarantee of quality and expressiveness, this designation covers grapes that do not come from an Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée (AOC) or an Indication Géographique Protégée (IGP). In both the winery and the vineyard, the estate applies organic farming practices, combined with a natural, low-interventionist approach.
The crystal-clear colour displays a refined nose, combining notes of white fruit with hints of green apple. The round, generous mouthfeel is defined by intense fruity aromas, leading to a lively, concentrated finish. This cuvée will reveal its full aromatic potential in its youth.
