Alberto Orte produces fascinating, bold wines which have firmly established him as one of the most talented Spanish winemakers from the next generation. As well as cofounding Olé & Obrigado, he has also spent a large part of his working life discovering the great terroirs, resurrecting old clones and replanting nearly extinct varieties that otherwise would have been lost forever. He produces two types of wines: wines that reflect the terroir which are labelled Alberto Orte and wines from village-designated vineyards that are more accessible and labelled Vinos Atlántico.
