    About the producer

A blended malt from Douglas Laing’s Remarkable Regional Malt range bringing together various Islay distilleries including Ardbeg, Caol Ila, Bowmore and the iconic Port Ellen.

    About the wine

Yula is a series of three bottles released by Douglas Laing inspired by a legend about the origins of the Isle of Islay. Yula was a goddess who went in search of her missing lover. The magic stones she took with her are said to have fallen one by one, creating the Scottish isles. Failing to find her lover, she drowned in her sadness where the last stone fell, creating the Isle of Islay. This third edition composed of whiskies from Islay and the islands was matured for 22 years and bottled at cask strength.
