Built in 1870, Château de Laubade was the first property to span a hundred hectares of uninterrupted land. Joseph Noulens was considered the estate’‘s real founder, as he built the château at the very start of the 20th century. Since 1998, Arnaud and Denis Lesgourgues have been the third generation to continue their predecessors’‘ dedication to excellence.
A Château de Laubade Vieille Réserve Cuvée de la Révolution Française Bas Armagnac. Produced with grapes from the appellation’’s most prestigious cru, this Armagnac’’s box and label feature various Revolutionary symbols such as the Phyrgian cap, the cockade of France and the motto “Liberté, Egalité”, which was shortly after accompanied by the word “Fraternité”.
