Information
Grey Goose is a French vodka brand founded by American billionaire Sidney Frank in 1997 in Gensac-la-Pallue, in Cognac. The vodka—created by Cellar Master François Thibault, who earned his stripes in the world of cognac—is produced from winter wheat grown in Picardy, a high-quality wheat sown in October and harvested in August, and spring water naturally filtered through the limestone of Grande Champagne. Positioned as a premium vodka, it is extremely popular in the United States, which led to it being bought by Bacardi in 2004 for over two billion dollars. Flavoured versions of Grey Goose also exist, featuring, for example, melon, orange and vanilla.
