About the producer

Hardy Cognac was founded in 1863 by Anthony Hardy, a wine and spirits merchant who had been working in London but moved to Charentes after falling in love with the region. The business survived the phylloxera crisis and successfully exported its products to countries in eastern and northern Europe. The company is still in the family and is run today by Bénédicte Hardy. It is known for its stunning decanters produced by prestigious crystal glassworks such as Daum and Lalique.

About the wine

Hardy Noces d’’Or is a blend of cognacs from Grande Champagne, the most prestigious part of the appellation. Aged for more than 50 years, the spirit would essentially be celebrating its noces d’’or or golden wedding anniversary. The Prestige range also includes the editions Noces d’’Argent (silver anniversary), Noces de Diamant (diamond annivarsary), Noces de Perle (pearl anniversary) and Noces d’’Albâtre (alabaster anniversary).
