About the producer

John Haig & Co is widely considered one of the greatest dynasties of Scotch whisky. Shortly after its creation, it began distilling grain spirit in a column still, becoming one of the main producers. The company is also part of the group behind the creation of Diageo’s predecessor the Distillers Company Limited (DCL) in 1877. More recently, its heritage inspired the launch of the single grain whisky Haig Club in 2014.

About the wine

Dimple 15 Year Old is one of John Haig and Co.’’s flagship blends. It was first created in 1893, when the market was extremely dynamic and the Haig family occupied the top spot. It was soon introduced to the United States with the creation in 1888 of Haig & Haig, a subsidiary dedicated to export, and was hugely successful. There it is known as Dimple Pinch, most likely due to the unusual bottle shape.
