Information
Gelas and Fils offers a selection of Armagnacs launched by Pierre Gélas 60 years ago. These blends are either reduced to 40% ABV or left at cask strength and filtered before bottling. The company’‘s experience and knowledge of the different terroirs has enabled it to develop a wide range of Armagnacs. The guiding concept, which was extremely innovative at the time, was to bottle cask strength spirits without filtration. Some batches were bottled a very long time ago. Gelas and Gils releases its bottlings when they are deemed to have reached their optimum age.
A Bas Armagnac from Domaine de Martigues distilled in 1970. Bas Armagnac is one of the most prestigious parts of the appellation. Its spirits are renowned for their quality and finesse.
