Information
The Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache grapes that make up this wine originate from a rocky hillside at an altitude of 200-300 metres, south of the Montagne Noire mountain range. Each grape variety is vinified separately, in concrete tanks, over a period of 18 days. During this time, gentle extractions are carried out in order to keep the purity of the fruit, its identity, and the expression of its terroir.
The wine is a beautiful garnet red colour that will delight any wine lover. It has intense notes of ripe black fruit such as blackberry and black cherry, with a touch of spice. To taste, it is smooth and leaves you wanting more. Supported by firm tannins, it lingers with a wonderful hint of liquorice. This is a lovely southern wine that goes well with flavourful dishes such as ham with mustard or even lamb tandoori.
