About the wine

A Tomatin 10 year old from the 1960s/early 1970s for the Italian market. The 12 year old was released for the first time in the 1950s and is found up until the 1990s with various labels depending on the period. At the time of the this bottling, Tomatin was the largest distillery in Scotland, with new stills added regularly, first in 1956 (two to four stills), then in 1968 (six), and finally 23 in 1974. This gigantism ultimately led the distillery to go bust in 1985 during the Whisky Loch.
