About the producer
The Château La Commanderie is a 6-hectare property in Pomerol. The couple Kuk bought the chateau in 2013. Originally from Singapore, they made a fortune in real estate in Hong Kong before falling under the spell of the Pomerol property.
About the wine
A Pomerol of great quality. The average age of the vines (40 years), combined with exemplary vinification, enables the production of smooth, creamy, elegant wines. 24 months of barrel ageing (with 30% new wood), gives the Commanderie's wines an imposing tannic structure that improves after mellowing for a few years in the cellar.
